A Vaccine conference in Africa, for Africa, about Africa.

This event is hosted by the Vaccines for Africa Initiative and is jointlty organised by the University of Cape Town and the National Institute for Communicable Diseases.

This conference aims to help protect African children and communities from infectious diseases by advocating good practices. The conference chairs; Professor Gregory Hussey (UCT), Professor Shabir Madhi (NICD) and Barry Schoub (NICD) will focus on vaccine and immunisation issues for Africa as we approach the 2015 Millennium Development Goals.

This is a great conference that will approach this topic's many dimensions including policy, research, advocacy and communication.
