The Network

CHGN is a movement for community based primary healthcare, and acts as a network of support based on collaboration and partnerships. The CHGN global community comprises members and partners who share the values of the network and are passionate about seeing effective community-based healthcare reach the most resource-poor areas of the world.

Members and partners

Our members are community health workers, doctors, nurses, academics, health service providers, consultants and others with an interest in global health.  

CHGN also partners with organisations which are both operational, i.e. conducting programmes directly and providing services at the community level, and supportive, i.e  networks, academic institutions, information providers and agencies that supply practical services to those implementing community health programmes.

Working as a network means CHGN can effectively connect people and organisations who could be mutually supportive, and it means we are in a good postition to share information, training and other valuable resources. We are in the process of documenting the benefits and lessons learned in functioning as a network, and hope to publish results of this on our site in the future.
