Organ Specific Diseases
Overview
Some conditions that are transmitted by an infectious agent may look similar to diseases that are not mediated by infections. For this reason, this page brings together illnesses of different body systemsm - the chest, the skin, the ears, the eyes, etc - and presents community approaches to chest problems (that might be adult pneumonia, or asthma) and the skin (that might be an infection, dermatitis or psoriasis), and so forth.
We are building these resources, but will be including the nervous system (neurological diseases, e.g. epilepsy), eyes, ears, respiration (inc adult pneumonia), digestion (inc adult diarrhoea), skin, muscle, skeleton (but not trauma). community approaches to diseases of specific organs, e.g. epilepsy, adult pneumonia, eye care, or skin care.
