December 2014: Welcome to our new website. Join in, connect and collaborate today.

Welcome

Collaborative community health

We are a growing and dynamic network, an emerging movement, a group of people determined to make a difference to the world’s most vulnerable communities.

We are people from many countries and backgrounds. We are motivated in different ways -- by faith in God, by humanitarian ideals or a love for people and the planet.

But we all want to bring about change – not by throwing lots of money and resources at problems, but by connecting people together; by celebrating gifts and skills which can help to transform our communities; by working together and developing deep trust; by agreeing about the barriers to health, wellbeing and happiness in our neighbourhoods; and together creating solutions to overcome them. Join us today.

Valuing environmental sustainability over modern ‘progress’

In this week’s blog, Phil Foggitt discusses the dangers of prioritising modern “progress” over long-term sustainability in an increasingly unstable world. —— *Photo courtesy of Kiril Havezov* In every aspect of life we find it easier to continue repeating previous patterns of activity than to rethink our purpose and create new ways of doing things.
